This is our standard translation service which involves
translation by a certified, native translator and proofreading. Use this service ONLY if you do not need certification or
notarization. This service applies to the translation of any document that is in
hard-copy, PDF or image file format or an editable document. Next day delivery
of this translation may or may not be possible. Use this option if you need a
one page birth certificate translated for the local DMV or DLD. Use esta opción
si necesita la traducción de una acta de nacimiento de una página para el DMV
o DLD (el Departamento de Vehículos de Motor, o el que otorga licencias).
An example of this would be a contract in PDF form that
you need to have translated, or a two-page legal form for which
you have the original word processor file. Please keep in mind that when your
document is in editable text format (Word, Wordperfect, HTML, etc.), it is
easier to process and control quality, which is why we give discount rates for
this kind of translation, whereas translation of hard-copy and image files
requires more work, more formatting and does not allow us to use as many of
our resources because it is not searchable. Standard document translations have
a turn around time of 2-5 business days, or more depending on the size of your
document. This is sdue to the various stages of our process which is designed to assure
the best quality at the lowest price. For more info, contact us at info@certifiedlegaltranslations.com,
or call us toll free.

For many applications and formalities involving legal
documents, you will be asked to provide a "certified translation" of
your document, which can be somewhat ambiguous in the US. Unlike Latin American or European
countries, there are no "certified public translators" in the United
States. A "certified translation" for use in the United States
will involve translation, a certification form which lists the translator's
credentials and finally, notarization. Our service includes these steps plus
mailing or express mailing of certified translations. Certified
translations have a turn around time of 5 business days or more, depending
on size, legibility, etc. For more information, contact us at info@certifiedlegaltranslations.com
or call our toll-free number.
A NOTE ABOUT CERTIFIED
TRANSLATIONS
Please note that our certified translation service is for
any document that must be "certified" for official use or acceptance
by a court, or other government regulated institutions or authorities in the
United States. However, this kind of certified translation may not be acceptable
for use in a foreign country. Unfortunately, there is no worldwide
standard.
Certified translations which will be used in a foreign
country may need to be certified with an apostille
or by a consular authority for that country. Please make sure of which kind of
certification is needed before requesting this service for a document to be used
outside of the United States. If you are not sure, feel free to call us at
our toll-free number and we will assist you in determining what kind of
certified translation is required for the country where your document will be
sent. If necessary, we can arrange for consular or apostille certification of
your document.

This service is available for our
most common languages: Spanish,
French, Portuguese, Italian, German, Russian, Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin
Chinese. We recommend next day
translation for any document under 500 words if no certification is needed,
because certified translations must be mailed. This service includes translation,
a second proofreading, and formatting. Just attach the
file to be translated to an email, send it to our the email address listed here
or using our order form, and we will have it back to you in electronic format
within one business day. If you need a rush translation of a larger
document, a certified translation, or a language that we do not translate
in-house, please contact us at info@certifiedlegaltranslations.com
directly for rates and turn around times. |

You may be aware that translation refers to written document translation,
whereas interpretation refers to oral speech and requires an on-site interpreter
to be present physically or increasingly, by phone or video conference. In
several states this service is available for clients who require the assistance of a
certified court interpreter for depositions, investigation, etc. Our interpreters are trained in their
languages and certified in languages where certification is required.
Please inquire about availability in your area by contacting
us directly by phone or e-mail.
